About the Role

You’ll be part of a passionate, hands-on team keeping locals and visitors rolling on the trails, roads, and everywhere in between.
Your daily work will include:

  • Assessing and completing a variety of customer repairs.

  • Maintaining our bike rental fleet.

  • Assembling new customer and rental bikes.

  • Performing routine and advanced service packages.

  • Ordering and stocktaking workshop parts.

As a Site Support Officer, you’ll be at the heart of DOC’s daily operations — ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of its Wānaka site. You’ll support the Site Lead and wider operations team with a variety of administrative, facility, and safety-related tasks that keep the office and its people functioning at their best.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the main site contact for office and facility matters.

  • Coordinating fleet management, including servicing and WOFs for DOC vehicles.

  • Supporting health and safety activities, such as inductions, fire drills, and audits.
