Community Link Unveils 'Everyone CAN' Christmas Appeal so no-one misses out this Christmas

Everyone CAN make a meaningful impact this Christmas thanks to the Community Link Christmas Food and Gifting campaigns. This year’s theme is "Everyone CAN make a difference!"

Community Link is excited to partner with New World Three Parks to ensure that every family in the Upper Clutha area can celebrate this festive season. After a challenging year for many, we want to make sure no one feels left out.

This year's Community Link 'Everyone CAN' Christmas appeal commences on November 11 and runs until December 22. Over this period New World Three Parks customers can donate products in-store in specially marked trolleys to easily donate pantry staples such as canned goods, pasta, rice, biscuits, sweet treats, tea, coffee, flour, sugar, and toiletries. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

“Christmas is a special time for all of us in the Upper Clutha, and every family deserves to experience that joy. We understand the importance of coming together as a community to ensure no one is left out during this special season. That’s why partnering with Community Link means so much to us. Community Link do incredible work supporting the community and provide a helping hand to those going through a rough patch. It is both a privilege and a humbling experience to be part of this effort,” said the New World Three Parks team.

In addition to the Community Link Foodbank Christmas appeal, Mitre 10 MEGA will have toy collection bins available from Friday, November 8 to Saturday, December 14, ensuring local kids in need receive gifts this Christmas. You can also bring gifts to the Community Hub, where a festive Christmas tree will be shining bright starting November 18.
