Updates from Kāhu Youth: New Youth Centre, Fundraising Events, and More!

We had the pleasure of hosting Anna and Joe from Kāhu Youth in our studio, and they brought along some fantastic news and updates about the vibrant activities and projects happening at Kāhu Youth. Here's a rundown of everything they shared:

New Youth Centre Fit-Out

Temporary Closure and Pop-Up Activities
While the new fit-out is in progress, the youth centre will be temporarily closed. But worry not! Anna and Joe have planned a series of creative 'pop-up' activities for Term 3 to keep everyone engaged and entertained. These activities will ensure that our youth continue to have access to fun and educational opportunities during the construction period.

Winter Wonderland Fundraising Ball
Get ready for a night of glamour and excitement at the Winter Wonderland Fundraising Ball! This spectacular event is being organized to raise funds for the new youth centre fit-out. Dancing with the Locals
In a show of community spirit, our very own Ruth will be participating in Wānaka's Dancing with the Locals event to raise money for the new youth centre fit-out. Ruth has been practicing her dance moves, and we can't wait to see her on the dance floor. Let's all cheer her on and show our support!

Ski Dinner for Youth
Last but not least, there's a special ski dinner planned for the hardworking youth who are working on the ski field. This dinner is a fantastic way to recognize their efforts and give them a well-deserved treat.
