There’s also been a spike in thefts from vehicles around town — and in many cases, the cars were simply left unlocked.

Senior Sergeant Cranfield’s message is clear:

High Drink Driving Numbers

Police are also concerned about the number of drink drivers being caught in the area. The message is simple:
👉 Don’t drink and drive. It’s not worth the risk to yourself or others.
