Racers Edge Powered by Torpedo7 is part of NZ’s leading Outdoor Adventure chain.  We have a reputation for excellence in customer service, the products we sell and our technical knowledge.  We are currently looking for an experienced Stock Processor to run our busy stock room.  This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wanaka, starting as soon as possible.

The successful applicant must:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ previous stock processing and stock control experience
  • Be computer literate, particularly with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Have a high level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
  • Be able to problem solve and show initiative
  • Have in-depth knowledge of a range of snow/bike/outdoor products
  • Have a high degree of physical fitness as some heavy lifting involved

 

On top of all this, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • Detail oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Great at managing their time, using systems and following processes
  • Actively involved in the outdoor equipment we sell
  • Able to work independently and enjoys being part of a team
  • Legally allowed to work in NZ
  • Available to work weekdays and school holiday periods

Racers Edge Powered by Torpedo7 is part of NZ’s leading Outdoor Adventure chain.  We have a reputation for excellence in customer service, the products we sell and our technical knowledge.  We are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Technician to run our busy snow workshop.  This is a full-time, fixed term winter role based in Wanaka, starting 1st May 2021.

The successful applicant must:

  • Have a minimum of 1 seasons’ previous experience managing a ski/snowboard workshop
  • Have a minimum of 2 seasons’ experience as a snow workshop technician including experience performing technical repairs
  • Have significant experience working with a variety of ski/board tuning machines and equipment
  • Be experienced in the setting up, maintenance and stripping down of tuning machines
  • Be able to train others in workshop techniques and processes
  • Be physically fit and prepared to work 4pm – midnight shifts

 

On top of all this, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced skier/snowboarder
  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Able to work independently and enjoys being part of a team
  • Legally allowed to work in NZ
  • Available to work full-time including weekends and evenings/nights

The Trade Sales Support position is a key role with the primary purpose to provide support to the Trade Rep(s). 

Duties include:

  • Fielding incoming sales calls;
  • Using the operating system to create packing slips for timber yard /trade staff;
  • Processing orders;
  • Co-ordinating and follow-through on all quotes;
  • Plans to estimator and quotation presentation packs;
  • Product descriptions and price updates;
  • Organizing all customer indent stock/special orders and their charge-out;
  • Reconciling and tracking key customer accounts;

Skills & Experience:

  • Must have knowledge of hardware, building materials and timber knowledge
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate (Microsoft Office)
