Production Operator - Alpine Fencing
Alpine Fencing are looking for a motivated Production Operator to produce various timber products for high end macrocarpa fencing, at their factory in Queensberry.
The role is inclusive of but not limited to, CNC operation (computer numerical cutter), stock management and overall running of the factory. Operational understanding of CNC or similar is preferred, and ideally you will also have a background in construction or landscaping.
Key skills required:
Confident and competent with machinery.
Able to work unsupervised and effectively self manage daily work requirements.
Strong organising abilities and a high level of spatial awareness.
Effective communication skills and Can Do attitude.
Familiarity with Health and Safety processes and commitment to highly safe practices.
Full drivers license essential.
Forklift license preferable, otherwise training will be provided.
Take ownership of day to day production demands meeting quality standards.
Stock management and scheduling.
Equipment maintenance and documentation.
Contributing to overall system improvements.
To be eligible for this position you must currently reside in NZ .

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a trustworthy and reliable Maintenance 2IC at Wanaka Hotel

The position will involve general maintenance around the Hotel, including repairs & maintenance on the hotel rooms, paint touch ups, basic plumbing, cleaning of the carpark building and rubbish areas . You will need to be physically fit, a self starter and not afraid of getting your hands dirty. Previous experience with building & grounds maintenance, carpentry, & plumbing would be advantageous
General knowledge of New Zealand work, health, and safety.
Your main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible to maintain the hotel buildings, machinery and equipment through carrying out scheduled routine checks.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to respond and provide resolution to all planned and unplanned maintenance issues in an efficient and timely manner.
- Clean and declutter the garden area while ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise your varying work load.
This position would be 32 hours over 4 days, Tuesday to Friday.
You must be able to work well in a team and enjoy variety as no 2 days are the same.
